If you’ve been injured on the job, or know of anyone who has been injured on the job, then you will want to attend a workshop on your rights and benefits under the state workers’ compensation law.

The Hawai’i Injured Workers Association (HIWA) is sponsoring a special educational workshop on April 30th with information you will need if you or someone you know is injured on the job.

The workshop will be conducted by professionals with years of experience in the workers’ compensation field—attorneys, doctors, physical therapists, vocational counselors.  You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and get answers.

Guest speakers will include:

Physiatrist Linda J. Rowan, M.D., who will discuss medical issues that occur in work comp cases.

Attorney Douglas Moore, Esq., who will discuss legal issues related to work comp cases.

Former KITV anchorman, journalist, and injured worker, Dick Allgire; and more.
